About Montana Bear Properties
Gail and Darryl divide their time between their homes in Whitefish, Montana, and on St. John in the US Virgin Islands. Through their company, Montana Bear Properties, they share their unique properties with guests from all over the world- with great success and hundreds of 5-star reviews!
They acquired their first “bear” property, Dreaming Bear Lodge in Whitefish, in 2009. Since then, the family has grown to include Glacier Bear Retreat, their 5-star private rental, built INSIDE Glacier National Park in 2013. Snow Bear Chalets with three incredible slopeside treehouses opened in 2017. With the success and demand of the treehouses, they expanded to include seven incredible new Whitefish Mountain Resort lodging options – true ski-in, ski-out luxury chalets, right ON the slope at Whitefish Mountain Resort.
Their philosophy is that a lifetime is too short to be ordinary – especially vacation time. Gail and Darryl strive to build and operate properties of exceptional quality, that provide ultimate luxuries to create an unparalleled holiday experience.
